点评:This museum is located right in the centre of Regina, just a short stroll along the banks Wascana lake from the legislative building, with ample parking, although you can easily walk from another of the free lots situated around the lake.
I visited early on a Monday morning and it wasn't too busy - though this being the last week of school, a couple of groups of kids did arrive later. Entry is by donation, so you get to chose how much to pay, so this is great for a family on a tight budget. You probably need 1-2 hours to appreciate everything because there is a lot here to see. kids will love the dinosaur, and it's great that from the upper gallery you can light up sections of the T-Rex to understand the damage to its bones, and the information boards explain the scrapes he probably got into. There are a lot of stuffed animals, displayed in very authentic looking settings, that enable you to get an appreciation of the animal life in Saskatchewan, as well as some good First Nations history. This ought to be on your list of things to do if visiting Regina, or if you've never been!
