点评：Chihuly Garden and Glass is an exhibit in the Seattle Centre, situated next to the Space Needle. I took the ticket for the General Admission + IMAX. Every art work displayed was colourful, lively and looked very beautiful. Different themes were there in different exhibit centres. Never seen anything like that before. Not mush crowded when i visited. Staff was there to guide you inside.
The Chihuly Garden and Glass features several sections: The Garden, the Glasshouse, the indoor Galleries, the Theatre (having Community Hot Shop), and some other spaces like a bar, retail etc.
The Garden displayed combination of colourful trees, plants, and flowers along with different artworks. The Glasshouse features an expansive, 100-foot-long sculpture to fill the space with a vibrant palette of red, yellow, and orange. The Galleries offer a comprehensive collection representing over 40 years of experimentation with colour, form, and light. I was able to the live demo of making colourful Glass artworks of different shapes by melting the glass in very high temperature. The retail shop has very attractive collection of souvenirs, gifts and utility items, where you cannot stop yourself to buy. I was not much impressed by IMAX part, that ticket can be avoided. A must visit place, and recommend to plan it. 2.5-3 hrs is needed to complete the tour.
