点评:We were a group of 11veterans of Army and Navy accompanied by wives. All of us are senior citizens. We had requested Panditji Nand Lal to guide us. He advised to come for the evening arti at 7:45 PM. Accordingly, we were there well before time. It was very crowded. After depositing mobiles and shoes, we proceeded into the temple after being frisked. The Pandit took us to a point where a board said ‘Senior Citizens, Pregnant ladies and children.’ However, we waited there standing for 20 minutes while the crowd kept increasing and pressing onto us. The ladies were getting suffocated and scared while we tried our best to protect them from getting crushed. There were no other senior citizens around us. No crowd management- totally ineffective police. When the Arti finally began and we were pushed in, one was not able to view the idol for more than a few seconds before we were pushed out. Then people started entering from the exit point and we were jammed inside. It was a traumatic and harrowing experience. Total mismanagement. It is requested that the darshan be streamlined to ensure a peaceful spiritual experience and not a harrowing one.
