点评:It is wonderful that all these fascinating buildings have been moved to an open air museum where you can see building styles from different parts of Romania. Each building is accompanied by a floor plan, a description of how the building was used and pictures of the interior. Most consist of two rooms, on either side of an entrance hall, one of which is private while visitors are welcomed in the other. Some have storage and some have an outside privy. In addition to domestic dwellings there are churches, agricultural structures including mills and wine presses and boats. The day we were there almost no buildings could be inspected from the inside and the cafe was closed. This was disappointing and cut our visit short. People were renovating some of the exhibits which will perhaps be accessible in the future. It would be good if some of the houses could contain clothes for children to dress in and objects for them to touch. Maybe we could have some interiors where we could sit down and imagine living there. The buildings are important and the souvenir shop is very good. This museum could be transformed into something really magical.
