Overrated tourist trap.
Bran Castle的点评
点评：Bran Castle is, in my opinion, one of the biggest tourist traps I’ve ever visited. As a historical castle, it was a huge disappointment.
Much of the castle has been heavily altered over the years, leaving very little of its original character. On top of the already expensive entrance fee, you have to pay extra to visit certain museum sections, which feels like nothing more than another way to squeeze money out of visitors.
The biggest disappointment is the obsession with Dracula, ghosts, and werewolves. Vlad the Impaler, the historical figure often linked to Dracula, never lived in Bran Castle. Yet the entire experience is built around this myth, with cheap, kitschy displays that have very little to do with the castle’s actual history.
To make matters worse, the crowds are overwhelming. You spend most of your visit shuffling through narrow corridors in a long line, surrounded by noise and large tour groups. There is hardly any opportunity to appreciate the building or enjoy the atmosphere.
If you’re looking for an authentic historical experience, I would strongly recommend spending your time elsewhere. Bran Castle has become a commercial attraction driven by hype rather than history. For me, it was a complete disappointment and nowhere near worth the crowds or the price.
