点评:We walked right round the lake at Easter. Parking was busy and full from about 1pm. The path started off tarmaced but soon deteriorated to a bumpy gravel with large puddles. Push chairs and wheelchairs will have struggled to avoid them. At the cafe on the other side there were picnic benches and tables amongst the puddles. However the views made up for this.
There was a shortage of information signs and maps and the pot holes were a problem. The council could make a lot more of this tourist attraction by making it more pram and wheelchair friendly and landscaping around the cafe on the far side eg making a large patio for the tables to sit on, and filling in the puddly pot holes. More benches on the path would be very welcome and more picnic spots with picnic benches.
There are quite a few good eating places on lake bank but again parking is a problem at popular times. We enjoyed our walk which took us about 2 hours with a coffee stop.
