A Hidden Gem Full of History and Paranormal Experiences

点评：We stumbled across this small town on our way to Kalbarri, and it ended up being the absolute highlight of our trip.
I rented the EMF detector from the café counter because I’ve always wanted to try one after watching so many paranormal and ghost-hunting videos. It was the perfect opportunity — and honestly, we had some incredible experiences.
As we approached the old outhouse toilet, a stone was thrown at us, which completely shocked us. Interestingly, that same spot is where my sister-in-law experienced a door slamming on her years ago. Later, inside one of the cathedrals, a book suddenly fell off the shelf behind us right after we asked if we were in danger. The book wasn’t standing upright, so we still have no idea how it could have fallen. We absolutely bolted out of there!
Beyond the paranormal experiences, the self-guided tour was fascinating and full of incredible history. I learned so much about the history of Greenough, and the whole place has such a unique atmosphere. The staff were also so lovely, and the café was fantastic.
This place is a true hidden gem, and I would definitely return. Don’t miss it if you’re travelling to Geraldton, Kalbarri, or heading back down to Perth.
