点评：We had such a lovely time visiting this beautiful island! 🌊☀️
A little heads-up before you go: parking can be slightly tricky to pay for, so make sure you have some coins with you. The little gift shop is absolutely adorable, with plenty of lovely things to choose from, and the staff are so friendly and happy to explain everything in as much detail as you need.
You can also hire binoculars, which is definitely worth considering because the area is so open and there’s plenty of wildlife to spot. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any puffins as it wasn’t the right season, but we saw lots of other birds and enjoyed the incredible views.
The best part was simply being there — enjoying the space, the freedom, the sunshine and being completely in the moment. And yes, we took LOTS of photos! 📸
One thing we definitely underestimated was the weather. We visited at the end of August and it wasn’t nearly as cold as the website made it sound, so we ended up carrying around a lot of extra layers we didn’t need! Light clothing would have been absolutely fine, although I’d still recommend bringing a long-sleeved top and something to cover your legs.
And please wear sensible shoes! There’s plenty of dust, dirt and uneven ground, so your favourite pretty shoes may not come back looking quite as pretty. 😂
And don’t forget your sun lotion — we certainly needed it!

有一件事我们确实低估了，那就是天气。我们是在八月底去的，实际上那里并不像网站上说的那么冷。结果我们带了很多其实用不上的厚衣服！其实穿轻薄的衣物也完全没问题，不过我还是建议带上一件长袖上衣以及能遮住腿部的衣物。
还有，一定要穿合适的鞋子哦！那里尘土飞扬、地面也不平整，你心爱的漂亮鞋子很可能就会变得不那么好看了呢。😂
别忘了带上防晒霜——我们当时可真是用得着啊！
总的来说，我们玩得超开心，以后肯定还会再来。一个美丽的地方，绝美的景色，友善的人们，还有一种无比特别的氛围。🌿☀️
