点评:When they tried to sell add on elephant rides, shooting (targets presumably but who knows) and cuddles with tigers (they apparently don't attack nice tourists you know...!?!?) at Tiger world we should have asked taxi driver to return us to Bangkok despite 1.20hr journey to get there.
It is a pure tourist trap with nothing authentic about it. Long boats with diesel fumed engines polluting the waterways, punters and traders make you crave fresh air. The stalls are full of cheap tat which you might be tempted if offered at reasonable prices but having spent 3,000 baht for a 2hr trip we again should have known that they would be greedy. Passing the 'photo opportunities' with snakes and nocturnal animals (I saw a slow loris clinging on to a vendors arm trying to sleep which was heartbreaking) makes me still wonder about humanity.
Even the waterways looked manufactured. We wanted an experience of traditional Thai trading and instead got commercialised junk... speaking of which the waterways and areas were full of rubbish. £100 between two not well spent... I'm going to research an animal charity to donate to in bid to help release the animals and raise awareness of tiger/elephant abuse in a bid to redeem myself.
