点评：We came across the mirrored spheres at Empress Place Green almost by accident, and they turned out to be one of the most charming little discoveries of our walk along the Singapore River.
Set on the lawn beside The Arts House (the old Parliament building) and near the Asian Civilisations Museum, these polished stainless-steel spheres reflect everything around them — the historic colonial buildings, towering modern skyscrapers, lush trees and even yourself standing there taking photos. The effect is surprisingly magical and makes for some very creative and fun pictures.
The area itself is peaceful and green, a lovely contrast to the busy financial district just behind it. People were sitting on the grass, children were running around, and everyone seemed to stop for a moment to admire their reflection in the sculpture.
It’s not a big attraction and there’s no ticket or signage, but that’s part of the appeal. It feels like a quiet art moment tucked into the city, and it fits perfectly into a riverside walk around Cavenagh Bridge, the Asian Civilisations Museum and the nearby river promenade.
