Burnby Hall Gardens and Museum的点评
点评：We haven’t been in years (honestly the price puts us off) we enjoyed many a visit when our children were babies/toddlers.
We found ourselves at a loose end today and wanted to get out but couldn’t face the trek into York (we’re local) and ended up at Burnby Gardens.
We enjoyed every second, even on a scorching hot day. The gardens are immaculate, the only thing I can liken it to is a little piece of heaven it was so peaceful and our children (10 and 7) loved it. The fish are a fantastic, we saw the Moorhen chicks today too which were so lovely to see. We went after lunch, but enjoyed an ice cream to cool down! (I had orange marmalade - I would recommend!)
The price point is still a bit sour for me, it’s beautiful and that can’t be disputed, but it is quite small and yes you can make an afternoon of it, I appreciate the costs it must take to maintain but entry, bags of fish, food and ice cream we had spent £50 for a couple of hours just seemed a lot for what it is.
Because of this it’s sad we won’t probably visit again for a few years now!
