点评：I contacted Red Chili seeking some serious adventure over two days in the Himalayas and on the Ganga River. I received immediate responses on WhatsApp and Ganesh and Vipin hooked me up with 5-Star guide Dave for fully customized 2 day adventure. Day 1 was 5,000 foot climb to Kunjapuni Temple (with stunning views of Ganga and Himalayas). Day 2 was private whitewater kayak where Dave supervised me down my first rapid on Mamma Ganga. Payment was easy by credit card through an online platform, drivers were great, and everything was coordinated efficiently and on time.
Dave has an authentic knowledge, passion, and respect unmatched from other outdoor guides. Born and raised in a local village, he introduced me to his native land, people, and customs. My experience was truly unique because Dave and I spent about 5 hours each day, one on one, and developed a mutual respect and friendship.
Dave went above and beyond in so many ways. He developed a trust in me and modified his approach so we could accomplish more in less time. He “loaned” me his personal river shoes for my kayak adventure. He introduced me to his friends who also spent a couple of days with me introducing me to Rishikesh merchants, local food, and aarti.
This was a once in a lifetime experience, but I hope it is the start to many more connections and experiences. My time in Rishikesh would not have been the same without Red Chili and Dave. 🙏💛🙏
