点评：I bought tickets for the Octoberfest billed as an Ommpah band and german beer and food being available. When we arrived the tables were not clearly marked out so it was difficult to distinguish which row was which and even staff were confused. We went to one of the small bars that was busy, and considering this was an alcohol fuelled event, there were only two bar staff, one who was being trained, and quite a queue and wait at the bar. When we got to the bar, we were told one of the only two German beers available on tap was only available at the other bar which made no sense at all. It made me think of the saying couldn't arrange a drinking session in a brewery.
There were no staff in traditional German dress which you would expect. We did not purchase food as the food offer looked poor, basically from what we saw people got a small basket of chips and just a sausage. It was clear that there was nothing German or traditional about the food, and the food looked unappetising.
The music was very over bassed and extremely loud. In between the Oompah band there were boring waits of 30 minutes where generic English pop music was played. My partner's father had to take his hearing aid as the music was too over bassed. We ended up leaving early because the event was pretty dismal. The band that was playing the oompah was good but the boring 30 minute waits and poor offerings of the rest of the event, as well as the overly load sound led us to leave early.
