点评：Great site that is an important part of the regions history. It was great finding shade under the Oldest Olive tree in the Californias, 300yrs old. The region does get warm so please take plenty of water. The drive is amazing and requires that you drive carefully. The mission is about 1.5 hrs away. The Road is in good condition and not too busy during July.
You get a good feel for old Mexico here. Grab some local wine and honey during your visit. You can park in the shad behind the restaurants and shops near the river.
We arrived in the afternoon trying to avoid heat.
We wanted to try the local restaurant but it was closed because the ladies from the kitchen had a local church group meeting :). Nice to see that it's a small community.
