点评：We visited Maquipucuna in Nov. 2025 for 3 days. I wish I could have stayed longer! It was more magical than I could have ever imagined.
Accommodations were gorgeous and comfortable. Our room was so peaceful, and clean. The group spaces and dining area were beautiful with amazing views and hummingbirds everywhere. The meals prepared by their chef were truly incredible!!! I’m vegetarian and that was no problem at all.
I cannot fully describe how astonishing the natural wonder of this place really is. I feel so much gratitude to have seen the cloud forest and it was a special honor to see an Andean bear! We also saw so many birds and insects and plants—as a birding enthusiast, it was heaven for me.
Our guides were so friendly, instructive, and caring. I loved learning from them and they genuinely want to share their knowledge and research.
The hiking portion of the guided trip is quite rigorous (especially at the altitude) —but so much fun!
If you visit this place, you are truly in for a magical time.
