Superb site with excellent support from staff - for person of limited mobility

点评:We visited on June 16th 2026 and my wife who walks with a stick, and not very far, was reluctant to visit. I spoke with a very helpful young woman at the reception and she was very keen to help and encourage a visit and loaned me a wheel chair to get my wife from the disabled parking to the museum - superb service, she spoke fluent English too. Another staff member was very kind and went out of her way to speak with my wife
The site itself is superb with Roman baths, Roman village layout, large villa and for me the highlight, 3 restored Iron age tumuli with burial artefacts in gold, bronze and amber displayed plus a reconstruction of the grave. This Romano-Celtic site is well worth a visit which you would be rushed to do in 3 hours. It straddles the French German border and the grounds have lots of good wildlife including white storks
