点评：Our trip to the Pinery Market in Grand Bend was the perfect Sunday tradition to add to our itinerary. There is a reason this place has been a staple for decades; it feels less like a simple market and more like a massive community festival. Nestled under a canopy of mature oak trees, the setting is naturally shaded and beautiful, making it a very comfortable place to spend several hours browsing the hundreds of indoor and outdoor vendors.
The variety of finds is truly eclectic, ranging from vintage antiques and collectibles to handmade artisan crafts and local produce. We loved that it wasn't just about shopping, though—the energy of the place is what really makes it stand out. Between the live acoustic music playing at Tuck’s Gas Bar and the incredible lineup of food trucks for "Street Food Sundays," there was something to keep everyone in the family happy. We were especially impressed by the gourmet options; it’s a far cry from your standard fair food, with everything from wood-fired pizza to unique treats like ice cream tacos.
Even with the $2 admission fee, it felt like a total bargain for the experience provided. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, and we noticed plenty of families enjoying the "Sunday Cruise In" classic cars while snacking on local baked goods. It’s a busy spot, so we were glad to arrive early to beat the biggest crowds and secure a good parking spot. Overall, it was a fantastic way to soak up the local culture of Grand Bend, and we left with some unique treasures and very full stomachs.
