Spa day - afternoon tea

点评：I attended for a spa day with my mum to celebrate our birthdays. Overall we had a good time.
The positives:
The spa treatments were excellent & very thorough. Well done to our therapists, they both did a fantastic job!
The afternoon tea was brilliantly presented & yummy!
The afternoon tea & treatment areas were very pretty & a nice layout!
The negatives:
Unfortunately the spa facilities were extremely worn & poor quality despite how well presented the hotel is as a whole including broken doors, no door knobs on changing room doors & very worn generally with fractured skirting boards throughout.
The towels & robes were extremely worn & completely uncomfortable to wear from being washed multiple times.
The hot tub was old fashioned & not very comfortable also very hot as the sanuas were in the same room.
The times of the events were also unusual - spa facilities 1st 12:30pm, treatments at 2:30pm & afternoon tea not until 4pm which is quite late & meant we were very hungry at that point. Not ideal really.
Overall a good experience especially with the treatments & afternoon tea but I certainly won't be using the spa facilities again unfortunately.
