Excellent fieldwork studies.
Slapton Ley Field Centre的点评
点评：This is an amazing place to carry out your field studies. As a mature student I was a little concerned reading the reviews, but how wrong they all are.
I stayed for 5 days during May 2026. The rooms were comfortable with en-suite and desk. It was warm and peacefully quiet.
The food was absolutely amazing. Offering vegetarian and vegan options. Plus vegetarian Wednesday Chilli was amazing. The breakfasts had everything expected hot and cold, and the self make lunches of salads, pastas, sandwiches fruit and cakes catered for all dietary requirements. I definitely didn’t go hungry and the catering staff were amazing.
The course… A Level Environmental Science covered so much with the day apportioned between field work in woods, streams and on the beach all with walking distance and the classroom or labs.
Our course tutor Greg was absolutely amazing. He was the best! and I’m sure the other staff are equally as good.
Greg covered all topics in details making sure you fully understood before moving on. I enjoyed the classroom work equals much as the fieldwork.
Additionally when investigating the course and making the booking Jane was really informative.
If fieldwork is your course requirement I would definitely recommend Slapton. The site, staff, food and outstanding area will not disappoint.
