Scottish Owl Centre的点评
点评：We had an brilliant time at the Scottish Owl Centre. So many different birds to see from so many different parts of the world.
My mum and I were very impressed with senior keeper Nicole and the amount of information she shared during the indoor flying display, and we were amazed at the variety of owls that were shown. The loud thump of the snowy owl as it landed on a perch was so cool!
The gift shop was well stocked with many owl themed items (I bought a little owl ornament for our Christmas tree), and all the staff we spoke to were very friendly. I enjoyed my visit so much that I decided to adopt Tomsk the ural owl for a year. We'll be visiting again in the future!
I would maybe advise against bringing really young children as they may be expecting a highler level of interaction with the owls that you won't experience unless you book something like the owl encounter. There were a few children under the age of 5 at the indoor display, and by the end of it they were getting bored and fidgety and wanting to stand up. (Which isn't ideal when you have a massive owl flying over your heads.) Older children around the ages of 8 and above who are patient and have a good indoor voice that won't disturb the birds will have a great time.
