Enjoyable trip through the mangroves

点评：I thought that the tour was going to be a typical touristy, cheesy trip, but I was wrong.
Brian, our airboat captain gave us a thrilling ride combined with extensive knowledge of the flora, fauna of the region. Combined with some personal stories of his past and present, an alligator sighting during a time of year when the gators are typically absent as they move north of 41 to the fresh water, as well as a manatee that came to our boat, we had a very enjoyable time. I would recommend this tour to anyone. This was in December and there are pros and cons to different seasons. As that last gator moves to the fresh water, future tours may not get to see a wild gator…..but the weather will be pleasant and bugs absent. Summer time (we were told) will have lots of gators but the mosquitos are near unbearable.
