A Lucky Roll of the Dice Brought Us to Arizona Hops and Vines

点评：Met up with my wife, who was on a business trip in Phoenix, for a long weekend. The plan was to road trip through southern Arizona with overnight stops along the way. I had planned for us to visit the Sonoita Wine Region for one of those days. With limited time, we could only hit two wineries in time to make it back to Tucson. From the Visitarizona website, I asked her to select the winery she thought she would prefer with the idea we would ask the staff for a recommendation for winery #2. Fortunately she selected Arizona Hops and Vines. The tasting room and grounds are artsy and whimsical. There are all sorts of farm animals wandering around. One cool person after another comes and goes. Everything about it was great. My wife and I typically make a vineyard stop anywhere we go in the world that grows a grape and I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the wine. Fantastic in a word. And last but not least, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention owner Megan (and friend Jodi) who treated us like family, so much so, we didn't want to leave (and never made it to the 2nd winery). Highly recommend Arizona Hops and Vines.
