点评：OK, so you probably need to drive about 45m and pay some expensive tollway (auto collected by the rental company upon return) to get from Torshavn to Klaksvik first to even get to the ferry port.
Then you need to get on a ferry (we booked one without the car as the system is pretty confusing, I want to say you may be able to book a car in advance but on the day we tried there was barely any cars on the way to Kalsoy, and no car ferry was actually returning so go figure) - also, worth noting that there is not too much really to drive around Kalsoy and the bus makes it a perfect convenient solution! So take advantage of it, trust me - I love driving but it's just easier this way and less stress if the ferry will have room for your car!
Once on Kalsoy, there is the 3 stops - Husar (not really for tourism), Mikladalur (where the Seal Woman is located + the Edge Cafe), and Trøllanes (where the trail to the Kallur Lighthouse starts + the Thai restaurant) - reviewed most of this stuff with some useful info separately, we took I think the 2PM something ferry, the tricky part is that 3H is not enough for it all, but 5 is OK without the meal most likely, 6H if you plan to have a meal on the island - 7h is a true overkill - we took the 10PM ferry back, it was a long day but amazing!
Cost per person round trip is about 30 USD so a no brainer - just lots of planning on logistics, probably the most if you visit the Faroe Islands but it's so worth it!
