圣阿加莎地穴、地下墓穴及博物馆的点评
点评：You MUST visit this place. It’s just mind blowing, to be somewhere, to touch something from so many centuries ago. The tours of the crypt and catacombs are guided and are at certain times. I don’t know if times vary by months/weeks. In August there was a paper posted for times for that week when I was visiting (and it wasn’t the same as to what was posted online). If you are visiting both St.Paul’s and St.Agatha’s catacombs, I suggest you check the times for the tours at St.Agathas. You can visit the catacombs at St.Paul’s on your own, but not the ones at St.Agatha.
Your tour will include the visit to the crypt and the visit to the catacombs. You can NOT take ANY bags with you. They will be left in a locked room in front of the crypt. No photos of the catacombs but the guide let us take photos of the crypt at the end of the tour.
To be fair to the guide, I will not be posting any photos here. You’ll just have to come and see with your own eyes. But it’s absolutely unforgettable. (I don’t see kids going there, little ones at least, defile no strollers or wheelchairs)
