点评：Casa Rocca Picola gives its visitors a rare opportunity to gain an insight into Maltese sumptuous aristocratic life. The palazzo is still owned by the 9th Marquis de Piro and his family. Throughout the centuries they have had a significant impact on the history of Valletta and collected an incredible amount of art that’s on display in this fascinating museum. Antique furniture, oil paintings, old books, silverware and countless number of object d’art are to be seen inside this impressive mansion. Options include a guided tour or downloading an app that I personally found really useful, as it clearly shows and describes all the important items inside, giving one an opportunity to explore independently. There’s a nice little cafe on the side. Part of the palazzo has even been transformed into an elegant B&B for those discerning travelers who would like to indulge in staying in its old walls in style.
