点评：Located in a remote corner of Madolenihmw Municipality in Southeastern Pohnpei, this is the remains of the Saudeleur Dynasty, c. 1100-1200, The mystery is how these large rocks, some several tons heavy, were moved from the other side of the island and placed strategically using 1200s technology.
After paying 3 different "toll collectors" for use of private property to access, you park at a private residence and walk along a 1/2 mile long trail of sharp stones through the jungle. After crossing several rickety footbridges, you come the the only remaining structure of what was once a large city. You wade through the canal at low time only and climb on the the manmade island that is surrounded by canals like a moat surrounding a castle. You are free to enter the building and walk around the perimeter.
Placed in the jungle with you as possibly the only visitors at the time, it's a scene out of an Indiana Jones Movie. Access is self guided, by foot at low tide and boat at high tide tide. Please check the tides before coming. As of July 2025, tolls / entrance fees totaled $28.00 per person. Bring good walking shoes that can get soaked,
