Nudist beaches below steep cliffs
Cupecoy Bay Beach的点评
点评：This is NOT a broad bay with a deep beach of sand - as at several other spots in St Martin / Sint Maarten. This seems a more secluded spot to go to if you want to nude sunbathe.
Parking: At the traffic circle where Rue des Terres Basse meets Rhine Rd (near the shopping center & Buttermoon Luxury Villas), take the W (ocean exit towards the ocean) and take a quick right to the parking lot (before the entrance to Buttermoon Luxury Villas). If you look on Google Maps, you'll see it across the road from two tennis courts. People also seem to park ($5 fee, I believe) at Dany's at Cupecoy Beach Bar.
Beaches: As you walk south from Dany's at Cupecoy Beach bar, following the coast, there are several staircases you can use to descent to small beaches below the cliffs. At least one of them seemed to have beach rentals available.
Nude Beaches: These seem to be spots for nudists. A good area if that is what you are looking for. An area you may want to avoid if uncomfortable with that. If you are not looking for a nudist beach: The small beaches with steep cliffs behind are scenic - but not so scenic that I think they qualify as "must see" for those making a short visit to St. Martin.
Dany's: Dany's was popular at sunset (for the one sunset we were here). Patrons were clothed. Drink prices were reasonable.
