Thunder Ridge Ski Area的点评
点评：I have taken my 7 year old kids here about 10 times.
It was great last year as the You can do it beginner area is excellent. However it's only open weekdays as weekends it's only for lessons. This should be on their website, as I sadly found out the hard way. We showed up on a weekend and could not use that area. We used the Moving on up area, open to non-lessons on the weekends, and it's decent but not as good.
The lodge is excellent. The food is good and there is lots of tables and space.
The Little Thunder beginner area is good as well, but there is no where for parents to watch, or for the kids to see them.
My 7 year old kids are ready for this area, but won't go if they cannot see me and know where I am. Because of this we are driving further and going to another ski area that has a really good beginner+ area with a chairlift where I can watch and they can know where I am.
As far as staff goes...
Most are pretty rude and unhelpful. It is obvious that from the top down, customer service is not important to them or stressed to their employees. For a family type ski area it's pretty weird. For a similar type of mountain with good customer service go to Ski Sundown or Mount Southington and see the difference.
