Four Days on the Inca Trail, and the People Who Made It Special

点评：My friends and I did the Classic 4-Day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu with Local Trekkers Peru, and I have to say it was a really great choice.
At the beginning, it was a little difficult to decide because there are so many tour companies to choose from. What made us finally go with Local Trekkers Peru was the fast and easy communication with Alberto, the manager. He was always quick to answer our questions and made everything very simple from the beginning.
We also really liked that they are a 100% local company. You can really see this during the trek because they work closely with local communities and with people who actually live around the Inca Trail.
The trek itself was amazing and we had such a great time. The whole support team was fantastic. All the porters were always in a good mood, smiling and ready to help.
Our cook, Paulino, was a real professional. We honestly couldn't believe the amount of food he prepared on the trail! Every day, especially for lunch and dinner, he would prepare 4, 5 and sometimes even 6 different dishes. The food was delicious, well balanced, and made with fresh local ingredients. After hiking for hours, sitting down and seeing all that food was one of the best parts of the day!
We also have to say a big thank you to our excellent guide, Gaspar. Without him, I'm sure the trek would have been much more difficult. His passion for Inca culture and history was amazing, and we learned so much from him during those four days. He was always there to help us, motivate us and make sure everyone was doing well.
When we finally arrived at Machu Picchu, Gaspar made sure that the end of our adventure was everything we had imagined after planning this trip for such a long time. It was a very special moment for all of us.
Thank you Local Trekkers Peru for this amazing adventure and for taking such good care of us.
If any of us comes back to Peru one day, we definitely wouldn't hesitate to book our tours with you again.

我们还必须衷心感谢我们出色的向导加斯帕尔。没有他，我敢肯定这次徒步会艰难得多。他对印加文化和历史的热情真是令人钦佩。在那四天里，我们从他身上学到了很多。他总是随时准备帮助我们、激励我们，确保每个人都状态良好。
