点评：If you're considering hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, I cannot recommend Local Trekkers Peru highly enough.
The experience itself is incredible, but what truly made our trek unforgettable were the people. Our guide, Paul, was absolutely phenomenal. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and genuinely cared about every member of our group. Whether he was sharing the fascinating history and culture of the Incas, helping us through the more challenging sections of the trail, or simply checking in to make sure everyone was doing well, he made us feel supported every step of the way. His positive attitude, professionalism, and enthusiasm elevated the entire experience.
A huge thank you also goes to our chef, Paulino. I honestly couldn't believe the quality and variety of meals he prepared on the trail. Every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and a wonderful opportunity to experience traditional Peruvian cuisine. Even foods that weren't normally my favorites became memorable thanks to his incredible talent and creativity.
The porters deserve all the recognition in the world. Their work ethic is simply amazing. Every single day they carried heavy loads across incredibly challenging terrain, yet they always greeted us with smiles, encouragement, and endless positive energy. A special shoutout goes to Exaltación, our Super Porter, whose hard work, leadership, and dedication were evident throughout the entire trek. Watching what this team accomplished each day gave me a whole new appreciation for the effort and commitment required to make the Inca Trail possible.
The breathtaking landscapes and ancient archaeological sites were unforgettable, but it was the people at Local Trekkers Peru who truly made this adventure extraordinary. Paul, Paulino, Exaltación, and the entire porter team transformed what could have been just a hike into a once-in-a-lifetime experience filled with laughter, learning, encouragement, and unforgettable memories.
