点评：Today I enjoyed an immersive tour of the Elephanta Caves and a local village on the Elephanta island. My guide Avinash, Tel+919869316041 who himself has lived on the island his whole life was highly knowledgeable of the history of the caves and the intricacies of the Hindu faith these highly decorated caves represent.
Although I had solely come to see the caves, for me another surprising highlight of the tour was actually a visit to a nearby village on the island. The residents of the village very warmly welcomed me including into their homes and spontaneously offered me a full traditional meal including dessert and chai.
