A Very Interesting and Relaxed Visit to Elephanta Island

点评：I visited Elephanta Island on my own without hiring a tour guide, and it turned out to be a very interesting and enjoyable experience. I wanted the freedom to explore at my own pace, and the island is easy enough to navigate independently.
Instead of taking the public ferry, we hired a private speed boat through Mumbai_move_tours (Instagram), as I wanted to avoid large crowds and arrive earlier. This made a big difference the ride was smooth, calm, and much more comfortable, allowing us to enjoy the journey itself.
Once on the island, the experience was rich and engaging. From the scenic surroundings to the lively atmosphere with local wildlife, it felt authentic and memorable. The historical caves, the walk through the island, and the overall vibe made the trip truly worthwhile.
If you prefer a more relaxed and flexible visit, I would recommend going independently and choosing a private boat option. It’s a great way to experience Elephanta Island without the rush and crowds. A very interesting trip overall, and definitely worth adding to your Mumbai itinerary.
