My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Umaid Bhawan Palace, and what an experience it was! From the grand Rajasthani welcome to the exceptional hospitality of Taj, everything was absolutely wonderful. Not a single complaint throughout our stay.
But what truly made our visit special was Sikandar Ji.
Associated with the palace since 1989, he has witnessed its journey and transitions over the decades. He personally took us on a fascinating tour of the palace, sharing its history, stories and little details that made the experience so much more meaningful. His knowledge, warmth and genuine passion for the palace are simply remarkable.
It is people like Sikandar Ji who make hospitality go beyond luxury. He doesn’t just show you the palace, he makes you experience its legacy.
A special thanks to the entire Taj team for preserving the true essence of Rajasthani hospitality. The grandeur of Umaid Bhawan is undoubtedly breathtaking, but it is the people who make it unforgettable.
Our stay was short, but the memories will remain with us for a long time.
