A very special hotel.
和平饭店的点评
点评：We had an outstanding stay in this beautiful hotel. We were in Shanghai for 4 nights on a combined work/vacation trip in a deluxe room that had everything you needed for a relaxing stay. The room was beautifully quiet, the king size bed was so comfy and the bathroom stocked with great toiletries. It’s in a perfect location on the Bund for exploring the city, has great facilities, (we used the gym and swimming pool) and has the most fabulous breakfast buffet.
All of the staff have a special something, from the doormen welcoming you back, to the reception / concierge staff and the courteous elevator attendants. We ate in all of the restaurants and took room service one night. The staff went out of their way to ensure you were looked after. A special mention of appreciation to Robbin for organising our taxis.
We particularly enjoyed the old fashioned art deco elegance and looking at the historical artefacts of the hotel. A visit to the ground floor bar’s Old Jazz band made for a good evening too.
Overall, a very memorable stay, thank you so much to all the staff, I hope we can return one day.
