点评:We were going to do Mutianyu for the toboggan but we ran out of time, so Badaling it was. It was raining terribly but we got there and we did it and we were thrilled. Just one thing for the ladies out there, though.. My friend got separated from us for about fifteen minutes. A man approached her and offered to take some pictures of her with her pro camera and she said yes.. He then tried to convince her to hike down the wall and to avoid going back to the funicular, as the hike down was easier. She took some more stills and then went in that direction. He was there to point her in the direction of the hike exit. She went down about five or six metres just to film and turned back. She saw him lingering at the exit and he asked why she didn't continue down. She just said she had to go and rejoined us. You do the math if she'd started that hike. It was pouring with rain. She would've been alone. Thankfully her instincts kicked in..She was lucky but be aware, ladies.. The Great Wall at Badaling was an amazing, once in a lifetime experience - great memories (bar that close shave) to take with us wherever we go..
