点评：Peterskirche or St Peter’s Church in Vienna’s Inner Stare (old town) area is clearly distinguished by its magnificent huge green dome. From ground level, your view of the church may be blocked by the surrounding buildings, but it stands out prominently when viewed from atop Stephansdom South Tower. It is located just off the bustling pedestrianised Graben shopping street, along the route of the touristy horse-drawn carriages (fiaker), so beware as the path leading up to the church is strewn with horse droppings. It’s free to enter this Baroque-style Roman Catholic church from the 18th century. Inside, you’ll be sumptuously feasted with extravagantly ornamented interior, including lavish high altars, gilded sculptures and frescoed dome. Good for a quick stopover as you walk along the Graben shopping street.
