点评：Hout Bay is a scenic seaside valley and harbour town in the Western Cape. It still has a working harbour, well worth a visit to watch the the activities. The arc of the sandy beach allows and mountain vistas. Popular activities include the vibrant Bay Harbour Market, there are seal-watching boat cruises, and fresh seafood dining right on the water.
Then there is the Chapman’s Peak Drive following a dramatic cliffside coastal road offering panoramic viewpoints looking down over the entire Hout Bay valley and bay. One of the vistas that often leave you speechless is the view of Hout Bay, the beach and mountain backdrop as you round the bend on the drive, when coming from the Noordhoek side. The best way to have your first sighting of Hout Bay.
If you are spending time in Cape Town this is definitely one place to visit.
