点评：We booked ahead online, admission is free but we made a donation too. We came to see the temporary exhibition by Hulda Guzmán but the magnificent David Hockney Sunley Window, stunning Antony Gormley sculpture 'Another Time' in the sea and brilliant JMW Turner seascape 'Waves breaking on a lee shore at Margate' are all worth coming to see too.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Hulda Guzmán work - so vibrant and inspirational. Do check what's on before you plan your visit.
Plan to spend an hour or two in the gallery, drop in and do some drawing, visit the shop, and maybe have a coffee too.
There was a constant stream of visitors but not over crowded. The staff were helpful but not intrusive. We liked the photography policy - take photos but not of people who have not agreed to be in your photos. Sensible.
The gallery is in a great location on the seafront so just pop in and be inspired.
