点评:It was a bit challenging to find this park because Google Maps was a little bit off and steered us to a nearby village.
When we arrived, there was no one on duty inside a very run down visitor's center and there were no paper maps to direct us.
So we decided to try to walk out onto the dunes and towards the ocean without any maps. The signs were poorly marked and in disrepair but we were able to find our way.
Once we reached the dunes and the ocean it was a beautiful setting and these were the largest waves we had seen since arriving in Fiji. This is definitely an area where you do not want to try to swim as the waves are strong and dangerous so it is best to view them from a distance.
The ocean view was so nice that we wished we could have stayed there longer but we were getting close to closing time and did not want our rental car to get locked inside the parking lot.
As we were leaving, a taxi finally entered the parking lot and we paid the entry fee of 10 FJD per adult to a person who told us he was the visitor center host.
While the facility and signs are run down, you'll love the natural beauty of the sand dunes and the ocean!
