North Pyramid (Pirámide Roja)的点评
点评：If you’re visiting Egypt for the pyramids, make sure you add on a day to come down to Saqqara and Dahsur and see where it all began.
This is regarded as the first true pyramid, after the Step Pyramid and nearby Bent Pyramid, and it’s amazing to see it up close, and go inside.
Entry is included in any visit, and it’s one of the easier ones to get inside.
People hang around the entrance trying to help, for a fee of course, but we actually found them very helpful, very friendly, and they took great photos.
There’s a hundred or so steps up to get to the entrance, and then a bit of a scramble down a boardwalk to get in, but it wasn’t too taxing, and not too hot inside.
And the location can’t be beat, away from the crowds and traffic and smog in Cairo, these pyramids really stand out.
