点评：so... i roamed aroung the market on my own.. i mean no male companion with me... the sellers on the main vertical street are jaded.. they will try to sell but wont go crazy about it. actually the same happens inside the multiple alleys of the market. but on main road there's a bigger effort to attract your attention. in the alleys things are different. more quiet. look if you want, buy if you want. it gets more difficult to bargain as you go deeper in the market ( or at least this was my experience ). in the alleys there are cafes and beautiful stores with all kinds of things. this is a wonderful and unique experience even for me who hates bargaining and is terrible at it. also, i highly recommend wearing a protective mask as the air in cairo is polluted; so as to avoid stomach problems that will definitely appear.
