点评：This is an interesting museum. It is historic in its own right. Both short 2 hour visit or spend the whole day. Keep in mind all the King Tut items were moved to the new Grand Egyptian museum. There are so many items here you will NOT see in the grand museum. Such as stone scripts, burial doorways, many sarcophagi, and much more. You can take your time here as the crowds are much less than the Grand museum. Strongly recommend getting a personal guide. Ours was Zanaty Mohammed. a PHD in Egyptian history. Brilliant tour guide. You can order tickets online easily. Just be sure you get the proper date of your visit. You can also get tickets at the door. Pay attention when you get tickets as to NOT confuse the two museums. We were so glad we went to this museum first before the Grand museum. The feel inside is of an old classic museum. Unfortunately you can see the spaces that are now blank from the moving of pieces to the Grand museum. This did not detract for all the items you can see however.
