Great falls hike. Rough road getting there.
Koroyanitu National Heritage Park的点评
点评：Did the shorter falls walk, took our time. It was about 2-3 hours round trip. We were the only 2 people on the trail. It was the dry season so the falls weren’t as spectacular I’m sure than the rainy season but nice to have them to ourselves. It made the hike easier. We didn’t get a guide and the directions were pretty clear. If I were a birder I would get a guide. We did see a wild parrot.
We rented a car. The road to the falls is very rudimentary. Gravelly, narrow with ditches on the sides.
Since they don’t get a ton of visitors there isn’t always someone at the park office but they came quickly after we arrived. You need Fiji dollars for the fee.
If I had known more about the park prior to going I might have arranged to stay in their lodge overnight and done the mountain hike and the other falls hike also.
