伊甸山的点评
点评：You have to walk up to the summit of Mt Eden but there are multiple levels of parking to get there. The lowest spot is around Tahaki Reserve, which is at the base of the mountain. The area has a small park as well as a playground. There are also trails which takes you up to the middle parking lot. This lot is up the driveway and at the first exit of the roundabout. Taking the right road leads to the top carpark by the cafe and toilets. This is where the buses drop people off.
The walk up isn't too strenuous. It is on a road so it is fairly wide. There is a boardwalk at the summit which goes around the entire crater. It is fairly nice to walk on and gives very nice views of Auckland. There are a few platforms scattered across the boardwalk. The one closest to the road gives the best views of Auckland City and the Sky Tower. The other viewpoints look out to the other areas of Auckland.
It was a nice walk up and down the mountain. Great for some exercise and beautiful views.
