William Nicholson - an excellent exhibition

点评：We saw the William Nicholson exhibition, which we enjoyed enormously. The works were very well displayed, with plenty of space to view them. Only gripe - and this applies to most exhibitions in other galleries - is that the information panels at the side are a) too low - why not have one at wheelchair/child height and one higher to avoid having to bend down - bad for backs! - and b) print far too small, meaning one has to get closer to read it, thus getting in the way of others looking at the painting. The printed information booklets are helpful, but not well put together, so difficult to read text in the inner margins and a hassle, compared to just reading the side panels, if the points above were put into practice. Only reason for not giving 5 stars! Nevertheless, we consider Chichester very lucky to have Pallant House and enjoy its well-chosen exhibitions.
