点评：Brisbane City Botanic Gardens is one of those places where the city suddenly softens. One moment you are in the middle of Brisbane’s busy CBD, and the next you are walking among tropical trees, palms, ponds, flowers, birds, and river breezes.
I absolutely loved this garden. It feels alive with colour — bright hibiscus flowers, deep green leaves, purple blossoms, red flame trees, palms, bamboo, and even banana plants. Every corner offers something different, and it is a wonderful place for photography, especially if you enjoy flowers and tropical plants.
The gardens are very easy to visit because they are located right in the city, near the Brisbane River. You can come here for a peaceful walk, a picnic, a quiet rest under the trees, or simply to escape the heat for a while. The shaded avenues are especially pleasant on a warm Brisbane day.
I also loved the riverside atmosphere. You can walk along the river, enjoy the views, listen to birds, and feel that special Brisbane combination of city life and nature. The gardens have a long history, and you can sense that they are not just a pretty park, but an important heritage place for the city.
There are many interesting areas to explore: old trees, ornamental ponds, open lawns, the rotunda, the bamboo grove, and beautiful tropical plantings. Families will enjoy the playground, while couples, solo travellers, and photographers will find plenty of peaceful corners.
For me, the City Botanic Gardens are not just “another garden”. They are a colourful, relaxing, and very Brisbane experience. A perfect place to slow down, breathe, and enjoy nature without leaving the city.
