点评：We visited Derinkuyu Underground City and it was such a fascinating experience. The city actually goes eight floors down, but visitors can explore five levels. You can easily buy your ticket at the entrance. If you’re planning to visit other historical sites around Turkey, getting the Museum Pass makes sense. But if this is the only place you’re visiting, a regular ticket is totally fine.
One thing to keep in mind ,if you’re claustrophobic, some of the tunnels connecting the rooms are quite narrow. It can feel a bit tight while walking through them. But once you step into the rooms, they’re surprisingly spacious and comfortable.
It’s honestly amazing to think about how people built and lived in such a complex underground city centuries ago. Walking through it really makes you imagine what life must have been like back then. Definitely worth visiting.
