点评:Our experience here at these historic dockyards was fantastic.
Taken here by relatives it was extra special as one of them did his apprenticeship here over fifty years ago.
We had some drinks and nibbles on arrival after the check-in process where our photo was taken as the ticket is good for a year so you can return as many times as you like.
Nice shop there selling many things relevant to the dockyards, good place to buy souvenirs.
The place is absolutely huge , they made ships here for over 400 years and eventually went into submarine building.
We had a tour of a battleship and submarine that are in dry dock permanently.
The whole place covers many acres beside the river where thousands of people worked making everything to build the navy ships.
It is a must place to visit when in the area,
We can highly recommend it
