An absolute gem of a museum full of fascinating surprises

点评：You don't have to be a tram or trolleybus enthusiast to enjoy this gem of a museum. For a few hours you can cast yourself back to the pre and post 2nd world war period and for those of us of a certain age, revel in those child hood memories when life just seemed that little bit simpler.
Of course the trams, trolley buses and narrow gauge railway form the centrepiece, but the complex is full of vintage shop fronts and street furniture to delight the social historian.
To make a visit even more enjoyable the staff, all volunteers, entertain patrons with lots of information and witticisms and are completely invested in the museum.
There are two delightful cafes and a fascinating gift shop (warning - once you are in the shop you won't to leave and won't come out empty handed!) to round off what is a fantastic stay.
Tear yourselves away from the beach for just a few hours and come enjoy this superb wander into recent history. You won't be disappointed.
