点评：Went for the Easter activities in the walled garden, it was ok but expected more. From the description we expected a vibrant, busy atmosphere. What you actually get is an empty garden with a few activities. The crafting was disappointing and felt a bit mean with the lady sitting there literally handing out exact amounts of stickers and materials as if they were going to run out of supplies! Our daughter did enjoy the races (egg&spoon, wheelbarrow etc) but there was not enough equipment for the amount of children there. The magician seemed good. The most disappointing thing was the chocolate treat on the way out. I assumed as it was Easter the children would get an Easter egg but no my daughter was given a tiny little chocolate bar which she was very disappointed with. Considering we paid £7 per ticket (£35 for 4 adults, 1 child) and £8 for parking the small chocolate bar was really mean. A few days beforehand we went to Blickling Hall and paid £3.50 only to do all the Easter activities and got a full size Easter egg at the end of it. They even stop you on the drive into Holkham to get your payment for parking which seemed very heavy handed. The whole experience left us with the impression that Holkham only care about your money! We will stick to National Trust places in future which have more activities at much cheaper prices.
